Stage 3 is upon us, and time for some reminders -

Stage 3 is all about dps. dps, for those unfamiliar with gaming jargon, is Damage Per Second. We need to be able to move that bar! To that end, take the time now to select your 5 Sworn Swords to use. They will remain in the event for the entire time - do NOT change SS's. Most likely, your 5 highest levels are the best choice, but it is possible you have a peerless doing more damage than a high level with lower stats. Whatever, pick your 5, then make sure they have your very best equipment on those 5, with the exception of what is on your main character. For those unaware, the benefits of the equipment on your main character are passed down to all your SS's.

Once your 5 are chosen and equipped to the best of your ability, if there is time prior to the event, strive to raise any levels that are close, for the extra stat boost. The same goes for your main character. Check and see if you can do any building upgrades to raise stats further, focusing, of course, on upgrades that will most benefit your chosen 5.

Finally, there are event specific 'boons' or aids that will be able to be created in the religious buildings. These require event specific rare drops for creation. For the Long Night event, those are most likely the Northern Wood, Horses, and Furs. Leading up to and during the event, your remaining SS's should be trying to obtain these rare drops and you should constantly be trying to create the boons. The failure rate is high.. use gems to help your chances, if you can. Keep at it, if we all stay diligent, we should be able to keep the boons on us (they are placed where the SS's are fighting, inside the challenge. If it is like last time, they may cut off boon creation early. We need to have some stockpiled against that, so KEEP MAKING THEM!
